HOST HIVE: Mobile App Design
Host Hive is a mobile app that centralizes event planning and venue/vendor booking into one platform. With curated vendor options, co-op booking for shared spaces, and transparent community features, it streamlines planning while fostering collaboration and trust for more successful events. By supporting independent vendors, musicians, and small businesses, the app creates new opportunities for community-driven experiences.

User Personas
User personas were developed for the Host Hive app to capture the needs, goals, and challenges of the target audience. Personas also acted as a reference throughout the process, keeping the focus on real users rather than assumptions.
Task Flows & User Navigation
Task flows and navigation were designed to streamline the event planning process, guiding users through co-hort collaboration or booking venues, managing communication, and confirming details with clarity and efficiency. The focus was on creating an intuitive structure that minimized friction and supported a seamless user journey.
Sketches & Paper Prototypes
Early sketches and paper prototypes explored layout ideas, interaction patterns, and overall flow for the Host Hive app. Users were guided through paper prototype testing to gather base-level feedback, allowing for quick iteration and validation before moving into digital wireframes.
