Diverse Rhythms Resound: Three Poster Series
The focus of this project was to create a series of three posters that not only advertise an event but also captivate viewers with unconventional typography. The approach taken was carefully chosen to reflect the creative essence of the project, which revolves around the contributions of three influential poets: Anais Duplan, Aimè Cèsiare, and Eve Ewing.
Research
Exploring and researching each poet's background, poetic style, and core beliefs was extremely beneficial for my process. This helped ideate ideas through words and sketches, shaping how to convey these influences in such designs. By understanding their unique perspectives, it became possible to better integrate their essence into the creative process.

Type Exploration
Various typography techniques such as layering, folding, bending, and cutting were experimented with, but the primary focus was on scanning. By printing and scanning one of each poet's poems, the text was manipulated to create dynamic patterns, movement, and shapes. This process aimed to achieve a dreamy, lyrical, and fluent visual effect.
Digital Experimental Iterations
Throughout the digital creations, the aim was to maintain a consistent dreamy, immersive, and fluid aesthetic across each poster. Techniques such as inversion and fragmentation were utilized to emphasize the desired emotional impact. These iterations were experimental, serving as a means to discover a distinct direction for future development.
